This is an online "wages" calculator that calculates the daily wages on the basis of working hours per day. You can easily calculate the amount plus over time (If any) post filling in the data in both columns as "Time In" and "Time Out". The calculator is designed to calculate the working hours for a complete week, i.e. Monday to Sunday.
We have also provided the option to select the input currency value wherein the user can enter the per-hour wages in the input field and either select US Dollars or Indian Rupees to show the results for a complete week or for any particular day/days. The output will show the amount of the wages, overtime (If any), and total amount separately.
There are several differences between wages and a regular salary, when it comes to salary a fixed amount is offered to the employee on a per annum basis, however, in case of wages it is completely different as the worker/employee will get per day/hour basis salary. Also, if in case the person is working more than a significant timeline (8 working hours + 1 hour break = 9 hrs in this case) the wage-earners tend to be non-exempt, which means they are subject to overtime as per the wage regulations set by the government to protect workers
Below is an example to use the calculator.
Select the Input field time as 09:00 AM
Select the Output filed time as 07:00 PM
Click on the "Calculate" button
The calculator will show the result as 10 hours
Total Time - 10 hours
Over-Time - 1 hour
If the wages per hour are set as 100 INR
Click Calculate again will show as under
Regular wages will show as 10*100 = ₹1,000
Overtime Wages: 1*150% of the regular wages(100*150) = ₹150
Total Wages: ₹1,150
